Vancouver Island Lifestyle Editorial

Here is an editorial posted by The Province Newspaper. It’s a very interesting perspective. An important component of my real estate business on Vancouver Island is working with clients that are “cashing in” on their Lower Mainland Homes and settling in to their dream homes here on the island. I believe that the timing is perfect for this type of real estate trade up and would be happy to speak with anyone considering making the move. John Cooper 1.866.956.6228

These are just some of dozens of emails The Province Newspaper received in response to a feature they published about the high cost of Vancouver real estate.

We sold our home in the Commercial Drive area for nearly a million dollars in June 2012 and bought twice the house for a third of that price in Nanaimo in September. Rather, I believe it will encourage them to continue their poor-living ways.

It really felt like I was the enemy, wanting Vancouver to keep our civic taxes low, wanting to drive a car, wanting people to get jobs and work for a living, wanting to feel safe as I walked down the street. READ THE ENTIRE EDITORIAL HERE.
