Vancouver Island

771 single family homes sold. Avg. price $376,825 (up 8% from 12 months to date, this year over last). 55 waterfront homes sold, 69 lots sold & 271 condos sold. Single family unit sales volume is up 24%. Average days on market has decreased by 15% to 58 days. The average condo sells for $249,336. Condo unit sales are up 37% 12 months to date. Condos have seen a 7% decrease in days on market. Average days to sell is 88 days. Lot sales volume is up by 22%. Lot prices have increased by 7% 12 months to date. Average lot sale price is $151,051. Most active region: Nanaimo (210 properties sold); Highest average price: Parksville/Qualicum ($483,626).


Victoria

641 single family homes sold. Avg. price $683,584 (up 16% from 12 months to date, this year over last). 30 waterfront homes sold, 36 residential lots sold & 502 condos sold. Single family unit sales volume is up 44%. Average days on market has decreased by 30% to 34 days. The average condo sells for $399,107. Condo unit sales are up 54% 12 months to date. Condos have seen a 30% decrease in days on market. Average days to sell is 46 days. Residential lot sales volume is up by 43%. Lot prices have increased by 29% 12 months to date. Average lot sale price is $335,386. Most active region: Saanich East (125 properties sold); Highest average price: Oak Bay ($1,447,002). 


Nanaimo

210 single family homes sold. Avg. price $410,552 (up 8% from 12 months to date, this year over last). 9 waterfront homes sold, 27 lots sold & 88 condos sold. Single family unit sales volume is up 21%. Average days on market has decreased by 15% to 39 days. The average condo sells for $257,256. Condo unit sales are up 25% 12 months to date. Condos have seen a 24% decrease in days on market. Average days to sell is 58 days. Lot sales volume is up by 5%. Lot prices have decreased by 2% 12 months to date. Average lot sale price is $161,748. Most active region: North Nanaimo (45 properties sold); Highest average price: North Jinglepot ($670,450). 


Parksville/Qualicum

123 single family homes sold. Avg. price $438,582 (up 10% from 12 months to date, this year over last). 11 waterfront homes sold, 10 lots sold & 41 condos sold. Single family unit sales volume is up 32%. Average days on market has decreased by 19% to 45 days. The average condo sells for $290,658. Condo unit sales are up 30% 12 months to date. Condos have seen a 23% decrease in days on market. Average days to sell is 56 days. Lot sales volume is up by 117%. Lot prices have increased by 14% 12 months to date. Average lot sale price is $192,945. Most active region: Parksville (43 properties sold); Highest average price: Fairwinds ($864,380). 

Cowichan Valley

137 single family homes sold. Avg. price $374,402 (up 8% from 12 months to date, this year over last). 14 waterfront homes sold, 11 lots sold & 34 condos sold. Single family unit sales volume is up 27%. Average days on market has decreased by 26% to 57 days. The average condo sells for $222,653. Condo unit sales are up 30% 12 months to date. Condos have seen a 31% decrease in days on market. Average days to sell is 80 days. Lot sales volume is up by 2%. Lot prices have increased by 12% 12 months to date. Average lot sale price is $134,954. Most active region: East Duncan (38 properties sold); Highest average price: Cobble Hill ($546,644). 


Port Alberni/West Coast

43 single family homes sold. Avg. price $239,785 (up 10% from 12 months to date, this year over last). 5 waterfront homes sold, 6 lots sold & 15 condos sold. Single family unit sales volume is up 40%. Average days on market has decreased by 10% to 92 days. The average condo sells for $214,497. Condo unit sales are up 93% 12 months to date. Condos have seen a 5% decrease in days on market. Average days to sell is 176 days. Lot sales volume is up by 43%. Lot prices have increased by 3% 12 months to date. Average lot sale price is $99,645. Most active region: Port Alberni (33 properties sold); Highest average price: Ucluelet ($660,000).
