Elk Falls Provincial Park in Campbell River, BC has just opened their new pedestrian suspension bridge- the highest onVancouver Island. Suspended 64 metres over the roaring rapids and waterfall below, the bridge is not for the faint of heart. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Campbell River, with help from Community Futures Strathcona, BC Hydro and BC Parks, with a matching grant from Island Coastal Economic Trust, admission to the bridge is completely free. This is a definite addition to your Vancouver Island bucket list!
